A journey with DAVs

As a young college student, filled with enthusiasm for knowledge, curiosity, facts and trivia, quizzing was a natural outlet. And a long standing supporter of the pursuit of knowledge has been DAV group of schools of Odisha.

Er BC Patnaik, an eminent educator and one of the founding fathers of DAV movement in Odisha was instrumental in setting up multiple DAV schools across the state. To commemorate his contributions which cannot be summed up in a single blog post, DAV Pokhariput instituted the namesake Memorial Quiz. A more than decade long journey in which the participants of the quiz have transformed into important cogs of the society and found their niche as an aware and curious lot of doctors, engineers, lawyers, entrepreneurs, civil servants, etc.

This quiz, over a decade old now, is a glowing testament to Durgamadhab Sir's, DAV Pokhariput, selfless dedication for the betterment of students and society. It gives us immense pleasure to share some of the questions asked in the previous editions of the quiz.
